this journal is my space to talk about whatever i want. i have chosen to keep the journal public, but will occasionally have friends only entries. even within those friends only entries, i do use friend filters because sometimes, things are just a little too personal and i want to keep the audience viewing them limited to those who either:
a) already know the situation
b) have specific experience that i want to cull opinions from
c) are longtime friends whom i trust deeply
if you have a problem with not being able to see the occasional entry, then i suggest you move on. however, those types of entries happen fairly infrequently. i'm generally a very open person. i don't have much to hide. that said, you may find yourself offended by something i say. i'll apologize in advance right here and now for offending you, but i am not going to tolerate disrespect. i'll respect your opinions as long as they're presented respectfully, and you in turn can respect mine. are you sensing a theme? R-E-S-P-E-C-T. there's a whole song about it. if you can't follow aretha franklin's instructions, you'll be banned from my journal. i'm tough, but i'm fair.
